The School was proud to participate in the HKU Information Day for Undergraduate Admissions, successfully held on October 26, and to welcome over 1,500 prospective students and visitors eager to learn about our innovative programme and vibrant academic community.

The Admissions Talk on the revamped Bachelor of Biomedical Sciences programme drew significant interest, highlighting its unique curriculum features, specialised Majors and diversified career pathways. Interactive workshops, including hands-on demonstrations with VR facilities and Anatomage Virtual Dissecting Table, offered visitors an immersive experience with our innovative learning technologies. Visitors also engaged with Electromyogram (EMG) and Electrocardiogram (ECG) demonstrations, explored bioinformatics sessions on genome sequencing and digital health, and enjoyed a lively lab tour showcasing biochemistry experiments. The Human Specimens Exhibition at the Anatomy and Dissection Laboratory enriched the day with a rare glimpse into anatomical studies. Prospective students had the opportunity to connect with our teaching staff and students during admissions consultations and learn more about academic life at SBMS.
